Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Now, there's no one here, what would you do right now?
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
well I have decided to go check on the dark realm for a bit * the smoke disapears and all that is left is nothing*
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
thinksHm, will he ever learn?
Vanishes fireball and walks out of the Cafe |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Do not ask, for I am the spam."
"A wish for fish can not be unmade fool mortal!" "Ian McConville to host Casual Costume Party, hostess positions open" Yeah, that's right... I'm nearly ready to post the long-delayed character profiles from my story. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Yeah, that's a no." Mav knocked back another drink as he wrote more for school.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Rikali re-enters the cafe, looking a little annoyed. Wolf delivers Rose and trots off to go...do something. Rose yawns and begins to doze off.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Katayk enters the cafe, his hands in his pockets, looking sort of angry. He didn't like it when Riki ignored him.
"That guy started it! I can't help it if people are always picking fights with me!" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Rikali's voice is low, as to not wake Rose. However, it's filled with venom. "He was not picking a fight with you! He was trying to be friendly!"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Katayk takes the same tone as Rikali. "Fine! Just stop ignoring me! You ignored me the whole walk here!"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
She tenses for a moment and counts to ten. "I'm sorry, Katayk. It's just with the baby and the threat of your brother and Gale and all, I haven't been myself lately. I'm scared, Katayk. Scared for you and Rose."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Katayk took a seat on a barstool next to Rikali. "You don't have to be... They're both dead as soon as they show their faces."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"I don't know. We've lost to them before." Rikali turns her head to watch Rose sleep peacefully.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Am makes a clang with his cane. "The two you fear hold grudges. As much as I'd like to be the bearer of good news, they'll be back. Fortunately, everyone fears something. Even those two.." Am hops up and searches for a drink.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Mind your own buisness." Rikali snaps.
((whoa...aren't the three of them close in age? God, that's really freaky to see how a couple events can change people...even RPG characters)) |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Don't be so damn edgy. Especially at a bloody cafe." Am picks up a soda and sits back down.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Mind your own buisness and you won't have to worry about it." She snarls at him and stalks over to the bar, grabbing a bottle of wine and tearing the cork out of it.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Katayk empties a bottle of liquor into his kidney.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Riki stares at the bottle and throws it at the wall, shattering it. She storms out of the cafe. The noise of the bottle crashing wakes up Rose. She sets up a good howl.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Whatever." Am whistles as he opens his soda. He then talks quietly to himself. "Which reminds me...whatever HAPPEND to Axis? Bah. The psycopaths always come back, never the noble ones. What a world." Am hears the crash. "Some one's destructive."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Katayk lets his face hit the bar as he dozes off into a night of alcohol-induced sleep as he had done so many times before...
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
((bah, Raz wasn't supposed to go to sleep...))
A few minutes later, Rikali steps the the cafe door. Staring coldly at Katayk, she tends to her daughter, giving Rose a bottle of milk. Her eyes rise to meet Am's. "You spoke of Gale and Sadik of having weaknesses?" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"What a lovely couple." Am cries to no one in particular. He sips his drink and lies down. "Yes I did. But you didn't seem intrested."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Mav is seen just leaning back in a chair wearing headphones and singing along to 'It's Been A While' by Staind. He pauses singing every so often to sip at his Cognac.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"I had other things on my mind. Do you know their weakness?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"I didn't say I know. I said everyone has one. Gale's should be obvious. Sadik's is probally hidden. No one with enemies let's it be known easily, but in ways they reveal their weaknesses by trying to hide them." Am took a sip of his drink, he wondered if that made sense.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
It does, apparently. "Yes, yes, I know Gale's but...that's kind of hard for me to achieve. But could Sadik's possibly be?"
She puts her head on her fist, staring at the floor and thinking. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
A stranger walks in the door, wearing a black trenchcoat. He looks around, and finds a seat near the corner of the room.
After while, the stranger stands up, and walks out of the Cafe, as if he were watching someone, but never made a noise. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
I've always wondered there... is Hatrix Matrix+H or Hatris+X? Or is it a mix of Hatris and Matrix... now that would be a cool videogame to play.
You'd like have, super-bullet-time hat-stacking action! No really... think about it... Steed from The Avengers would be Neo and James Bond's Oddjob would be Smith... And then we could have Ness be Morpheus, Fudd and Yosemite Sam would be Tank and Dozer... Trinity would so be Samus with the bunny hood on. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Kadino, over the length of that post, I can truthfully say that I became more and more confused.
And it's pretty hard to confuse me anymore. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Quote:
*whew* That's a long quote. But, uh... I really don't know how I got that name. I've had it for about a year now, that's basically my online name. I'd tell you where I first used it, but then you'd call me a geek. And Kadino, that would be a fun game of Hatris + Matrix = Hatrix. Well, I'd like to thank Kadino for being the first person to actually take-apart-my-name and get confused! |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Confusion had nothing to do with it at all though... this was 100% FDA Grade E* Insanity, the pride of the west.
Anyway, don't ask me how I come up with all my wierdo-tangentous-psychotic anti-intellectual meanderings. I just do. *Grade E meat is the lowest possible quality fit for human consumption |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Hey, I didn't say I hated them... I love them! :D
Oh wow, Kadino, I wish I could think more like you! :P |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
*Slithers in with her purple hatchling.*
Man I need a fix, and quick.... *Reaches behind the counter and takes a Dr. Pepper.* |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Requiem strides in without so much as bothering to close the door behind him... The wind does a good job of that, slamming the heavy wooden door shut with a loud thwunk. The instead occupies himself with a stretching of his arms high over his head, letting out a quick moan of discomfort as his untended joints click and creak back into use.
But then he shakes once: long dirty bangs of faintly lavander hair seem to hang with new, unruly life now, and he turns to look about hesitantly at the somewhat unoccupied cafe... |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Melding back to human, Rubyia notices Requiem come in.
"Wow! It's been a long time! How have you been?" The hatchling plays with a beer cap carelessly left on the flor. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"I've been better, Silver," murmurs Requiem, that dragon-turned-human rubbing at his temples with vaguely clawed hands. Not often does he occupy such a warped body, and it's most likely not by choice. "But I'm fine, how're you?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Sadly, she takes in his appearence fully
"You have looked better...I've been fine though. I finally named my daughter, Savon. But you...perhaps you would like to return to your more natural form...you don't look comfortable at all." Glances at Savon, then back at Requiem. Something around trilink's didn't seem right. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Requiem seems far too amused by his situation... Perhaps something more than his physical form has been warped by that lethal toxin that even now courses through his veins, held at bay only by his failing magicks. "No, if I try to change, I'll just die... I'll be too depleted to keep my body alive," he says in an almost nonchalant manner, both hands clasped behind his neck as he regards the newly named hatchling. "I certainly am pleased your child's been named, though," he compliments, a vague little smile slipping across his face.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Even thinking about her best friend dieing...is too painful, and she wonders what she'd do without him. Tears sting her eyes, and for a moment she looks at him with what could be love. The moment passes however, and she turns away, pretending to check up on Savon once more.
"Hey!" Runs over and snatches the bottle cap away. "Knowing you you'll put it in your mouth, and that's all I need is for you to choke! Here, play with your toy." SR tosses a small stuffed polar bear at Savon's paws. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Requiem smiles toothily, with a mouthful of teeth too sharp for a human mouth... But he's genuinely amused by the antics of the small dragonling. The creature can't help but offer that tail of his to dangle over the little creature's snout, wiggling tauntingly as he tickles beneath the hatching's chin.
